报告摘要：Pooling designs were originally introduced by Dorfman in 1943 as a potential approach to economically screen soldiers with syphilis during World War II. There are many applications such as blood testing, chemical leak testing, DNA screening, nucleic acid detection of novel coronavirus pneumonia. In this talk I shall introduce the development on the construction of pooling designs.
个人简介：王恺顺，北京师范大学教授，博士生导师。主要从事代数组合论、极值组合论的研究，在Journal of Combinatorial Theory Ser A、SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics、Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics、Science China Mathematics等杂志发表学术论文110余篇，主持多项国家自然科学基金，入选2008年度教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划，获得2010年度教育部自然科学奖二等奖（第3完成人）。现任北京师范大学女王调教
院长、中国数学会组合数学与图论专业委员会委员、北京数学会副理事长、《数学进展》编委等职务。
