Abstract: Sequences with optimal correlation have important applications in radar, communication, and cryptography. They also have close connection with combinatorial objects such as cyclic difference sets. In this talk, we shall give an introduction to sequences with optimal correlation. Then we introduce our two recent constructions of sequences with optimal correlation. The first one generates sequences with global optimal correlation meeting the Welch bound, while the second one yields sequences with local optimal correlation meeting the Tang-Fan-Matsufuji bound.
报告人简介：周正春，现任西南交通大学教授，博士生导师。主要研究方向为序列设计、代数编码理论、密码函数与压缩感知理论。入选第四批国家“万人计划”青年拔尖人才，曾获全国百篇优秀博士学位论文奖、四川省杰青、教育部自然科学二等奖、中国电子协会信息论青年新星；所负责的研究团队“代数编码理论及其应用”入选四川省教育厅科研创新团队。
自2008年以来，以独立/第一/通讯作者发表SCI检索论文60余篇，包括信息论与代数编码领域旗舰期刊IEEE Transactions on Information Theory 21篇,ESI热点论文4篇、高被引论文2篇。正在主持国家自然科学基金面上项目/国际合作项目和四川省杰出青年科学基金。曾访问加拿大滑铁卢大学、澳大利亚墨尔本大学、日本筑波大学、挪威卑尔根大学、香港科技大学；担任三个国际SCI期刊的编委，担任2018年国际序列设计学术会议（SETA）程序委员会主席。
